Advantages: 2 CDs - bought it cheap from ebay - lots of songs
Disadvantages: had most of the songs anyway!

...This is a 2 CD album, i bought it dead cheap on ebay (about £3) - it's prob loads more expensive in the shops!!.. features loads of artists and songs - i'll go through as much of them as i can!!!.. Ok - CD 1.. First there is 'Off The Wall - Michael Jackson' - i like MJ so i think this is a good choice of song.. 'I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me) - Michael, George & Aretha Franklin' - was a bit surprised about this song being on an RnB collection - even though Aretha is very soul/RnB - i would not have put this song in an RnB collection & plus i dont particularly think this is a very good song anyway (sorry any G Micheal fans!).. then we have 'Crazy In Love (no rap version) - Beyonce' - i absolutely hate this song now! it's been heard and played way too much and doesnt deserve to be on this album! im sure it is already... ...very best of Country Gold" Now this is a CD that has been played a few times i can tell you. The very best of Country Gold. The list of artists on the album just scream out at you the type of quality that you are about listen to and the recordings are all of the top popular tracks , this collection has been really thoughtfully put together. As well as the older greats singing some of their greatest tunes there are some of the more modern artists aswell proving that Country is still going strong. The Artists. Dolly Parton, well the name speaks for it self as many do on this album, as well as singing great classics such as "Jolene" she also once again pairs up with Kenny Rogers for "Island in the Stream" and ofcourse Kenny does a couple of solos including "Ruby don't take your love to town" Johnny Cash also appears with "Ring... ...As a child born in the 80's I have come to adore the music of the time, I'm always on the lookout for a good compilation CD and happened to spot this one during a shopping trip in Asda. Flipping the CD over to look at the track listing my eyes were drawn to one track and I didn't need to read the rest to know I had to have the CD. Capital Gold Eighties Legends contains songs by just that, 80's legends. There is a wide variety of artists providing a wide range of styles from pop to rock, Motown style and funk. It is a 2 disc CD providing 40 great 80's tunes. Because it is an 80's compilation, and most of us would have either heard the songs or heard of them, I wont go into a track by track description, that would spoil the fun of going out to buy the album and getting the know the songs yourself.
