I had never really heard of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers until my brother bought their album when we were on holiday in Mallorca. As soon as we got back into england he put it onto the CD player and i was in love. The album had so much funky punky style it was stupid, the lead singers voice was smooth and clear and the lyrics in all of the songs. The only things that lets the album down is that the first half, 7 songs, are brilliant, but the second half of the album is a lot weaker, none of the songs in the second part of the album come any were near to the songs in the first half of the album. However, this is sill a great album, though you may tire of it as you will listen to it so much for the first few weeks.
If you like this album i can highly reccommend the Foo Fighters, i have written reviews on all 3 of their albums so check out the reviews. The foos are quite similar to the chillis in my opinion, VERY PUNKY!!!
