Advantages: Some fun, catchy tracks, he co-wrote some of the tracks
Disadvantages: Some tracks are a bit weak and unmemorable

...*Please note:-* I'm not sure that I can really think of much to say for this album compared to the group albums but I wanted to give it a shot and I may edit this review later, if I think of more to add but for now, here's what I've come up with:- - Introduction/Background Information - Now or Never is Nick Carters debut solo album. This was released in 2002, when many fans of the Backstreet Boys worried about what the future of the group may hold, with Nick going solo and the group postponing working on their next album, so there were those that were opposed to his album simply from the point of view that it might lead to them not releasing any more group material. Advantages: Best album of 2006 hands down ; Lyrical perfection ; The break has done wonders to the Mancis powerhouse; A real treat to see live ; Flows like a book really, each song is a chapter
Disadvantages: Extremely underrated and addictive

So waiting in more or less the front row which is such a rarity and without a digital camera I can assure you I wasn't smiling, after a long two hour wait with a simply stunning support act called Johnny Boy which is a sort of PJ Harvey/My bloody Valentine punkish band, there he was in the flesh my hero, gasp! 'I was going to wear my Cardiff blues shirt today but I thought there might be some Swansea and Wrexham fans in the crowd' the opening line, touché. I was expecting the odd manics song and the whole album. But the night was rather extensive manics wise, what with an exquisite rendition of Kevin Carter, Ocean Spray being amongst them and it was a rare treat to witness him covering the clash song 'Clampdown'. Advantages: Country and Western undergoing a bit more reinvention

...than Folk and Country. Shania defamers will probably not be won over by this album, but may have to acknowledge that it is not sugarly sweet and has some great qualities... at least worth listening to, if not buying.!
