...This album is a broad yet typical retrospective of the commercial side of the disco era. Staples of the disco scene such as Chic and Earth, Wind & Fire feature here, yet in their most famous incarnations as opposed to the music that changed the face of the dance underground forever. There are rare stand out moments such as the highlighted Brothers Johnson classic 'Stomp' and Diana Ross's Chic penned athem 'Upside Down' however, overall this album is a good album for those that think of disco as a Car Wash style flares and afro 'Good Times' party. It's not for the connoisseurs of disco for whom any one of the Larry Levan or Joey Negro compilations would be better suited.... Read review

...As usual, Top of the Pops have created a double CD compilation featuring the latest pop music from this year, and I would have to say that it is absolutely fantastic. it is worth giving a liten. This time it features music from Miss Britney Spears herself, N Sync along with a whole range of this years top chart acts. As well as pop music, this alcum also features some R'n'B and rock, so there is something for everyone in there. It is a lot of fun to listen to, you can just bang it on your CD player and relax, just as any good music should be able to do. Pop music makes me feel in a good mood and so when I am upset I put it on to sheer me up, this definitely does the jon.... Read review

...This is the best pop music compilation that is out at the moment. It has access to the rights for more groups than the rival compilation NOW. As a result there are many more excellent songs on this one. It is a double CD and is full of the latest top 40 hits. Artists include: S Club 7, Ronan Keating, Kylie MInogue, All Saints and many many more! The good songs are evenly spread throughout the two CD's so you get full use out of both (this is rare for compilations!). My advice would be to stop buying all those singles and to get this compilation as all the best songs are on here! You will find it in all good retail outlets...... Read review
