Advantages: Internet, music, videos, photos all in one place Disadvantages: Battery life a bit disappointing
Ihave to admit that I am a big fan of the ipod. I currently have two, one second generation shuffle and the first generation ipod touch.
I've always liked the idea of having all my music collection on one player and with a 32GB capacity then that is more than possible. Ihave well over 100 CD albums and singles and I'm currently using up just under 16GB.
The 3.5 inch display is capable of showing episodes of your favourite TV show or movie, downloadable from itunes. Like the previous ipod photo and video you can copy your favourite photos to the ipod for display. I love this feature as you can show off thousands of digital photos to your family and friends without the need for a computer.
The unit comes with in built wi-fi, so if you have a wireless network at home you can connect to the internet, check your email, use ...
Advantages: Stylish. Great sound. Great for keeping you entertained while travelling. Easy to use. Disadvantages: Not good for using while exercising.
£35 per month. Minimum contract of 18 months. The iPhone is a heavy investment at over £400 a year. For a one off payment of about £165 you canhave almost all the features of an iPhone with the brillant iPod Touch. In my opinion, the 8G Touch wins hands down.
The easy to use mobile video and music player allow you to surf the web in WiFi hotspots, play games while on the tube and subscribe to apps from the iStore. The core use is still as an MP4 and the sound and video quality are both excellent, however, I would recommend investing in BOSE earphones and iPod dock for even greater sound quality. If you run, this is not the MP3/4 for you - it's too big to run with, even when using the arm band. Get a 3rd gen Nano - they fit great inside all Nike running short and trousers.
The touch screen is easy to use and works best when you ...
Advantages: Full Internet, Massive storage, Great design, Superb battery life. Disadvantages: The Megapixel of the camera is put to shame by other phones available.
the camera is 2 Megapixels which to some will sound quite low, Ihave as I say been extremely happy with the pictures Ihave taken and do not see this factor as a reason to put people off. The fact there is even a camera at all is to me just an added bonus that furthers the incredible appeal of the Apple iPhone.
My Final Thoughts
I am massively impressed with my purchase of the iPhone, and although when I bought it I did have slight reservations with the factor of the sorry state of affairs it left me with in my bank balance; I would say that it was completely worth every penny. The phone can do so many things that the price tag is entirely justified, and if anything you are actually getting quite a bargain for your money. The internet function is incredible, the slick design unsurpassable, and the battery life unbelievable ...

Album Notes
This reissue contains 12 bonus tracks from Gerry Rafferty's first group, The Humblebums. Personnel includes: Gerry Rafferty (vocals, acoustic guitar, piano); Joe Egan (vocals); Roger Brown (acoustic & electric guitars); Alan Parker (electric guitar); Rod King (steel guitar); John Van Dernick (fiddle); Tom Parker (piano, harpsichord, harmonium, organ, keyboards); Gary Taylor (bass); Henry Spinetti (drums, percussion); Andrew Steele (drums); Hugh Murphy (tambourine, background vocals); Rab Noakes (background vocals). Engineers include: Jerry Boys, Robin Black, Gerald Chervin. Originally released on Transatlantic Records. Includes liner notes by Alan Robinson. All tracks have been digitally remastered. This is the reissue of Gerry Rafferty's 1971 album CAN I HAVE MY MONEY BACK. The reissue contains new liner notes. Rafferty seems to have spent his life writing about his tribulations with the music business and the problems it caused with his relationships. This was the first of many albums, including those with Stealers Wheel, to address this subject. That should not cloud the enjoyment because some of his gentlest moments are here, such as 'Didn't I' and the lovely 'Mary Skeffington'. 'Sign On The Dotted Line', written with Joe Egan, is the first of the 'business' songs. Nowadays, 'Baker Street' pays the mortgage, but in the innocent times of 1971 Rafferty needed every record sale he could get. Sadly this underexposed gem of a record let him down.
Album Reviews
Q (12/96, p.159) - 3 Stars (out of 5) - "...retains considerable charm thanks to the modesty of its ambition and its author's eternal gift for double-tracked melody....represents an honourably restored brick in the wall of Scottish pop." Mojo (Publisher) (8/00, p.118) - "...A fine young songwriter in the McCartney mould....[This album] still has its charm."
