Can't Help Singing (New Choral Arrangements Of Jerome Kern Classics) - Voices Of Ascension

Advantages: Good background listening
Disadvantages: Odd mixture of music on the Uplifting disc

...a 'smooth classic'. It is a pleasant track, though it doesn't really stick in my mind afterwards. Uplifting CD 1 Verdi - 'La Donna e Mobile'. Sung here by Alfie Boe, this well known piece comes from the opera Rigoletto. This seems an odd choice for the album. It's cheerful enough I suppose but I can't say that I personally find it uplifting. It strays too far into opera territory for my own tastes but obviously others may enjoy it more. 2 J.S Bach - 'Wachet Auf'. This is one of Bach's cantatas and is an enjoyable choral piece which would have fitted equally well into the Relaxing CD. 3 Grieg - 'In The Hall of the Mountain King'. Advantages: Good Classic Hip-Hop Songs
Disadvantages: None

..., it has that 'old' sound to it, and even LL's voice sounds old too. The song carries the same theme throughout. The chorus is annoying as all it says is "Doin it and doin it and doin it well", three times. Not the best LL song, even though it is one of his most famous tracks. ●Warren G - Do You See● Warren G is another hip-hop artist who is very well known by hip-hop fans and non hip-hop fans. This is one of the best hip-hop songs ever. "You don't see what I see, everyday as Warren G". The song features Snoop Dogg, although he hardly gets credited for it. In the first verse, Warren raps about what he sees as he's been growing up, and that he sees a lot of bad stuff, especially to his friends. It is the classic rap theme, growing up in a bad neighbourhood, seeing friends dying all the time, then sorting your life out... Read review

Advantages: Some great vocals, sounds...
Disadvantages: A couple of weak points...

Stonebridge ( Sten Hallstrom ), is equipped with a very powerful synthesizer which creates all different music effects.Although Stonebridge is a DJ, he doesn't give us any of that sqeaky voiced DJ music which I can hardly even call music, this is pure house music... Stonebridge also sings a few of his songs as well as working the synthesizer and his voice is very good. He can sing high or low which is such a talent. Many Stonebridge songs feature different singers such as Ultra Nate, Jay Soul, and Da Yeene and finally Therese. These artists each have their oqn completely different voices to make the tracks even more enjoyable, and tasty to the ear.
