Back in the 90's, there was a thing called grunge. If I mention the band 'Nirvana' to you, you'll know exactly who i'm talking about. Unfortunately for a lot of grunge acts back in the 90's who got shadowed by Nirvana, their talent was never seen.
Some of these bands managed to drop the stereotype and sell some records. Candlebox was one of these bands who sold millions of records, but not many people have heard of them or can even remember them.
Candlebox released this debut album in 1993 and achieved fame with their singles 'You', 'Change' and 'Far Behind' - still voted one of the best tracks of all time, to certain polls. It's a fantastic blend of good old fashioned rock and roll, blues and funk. Kevin Martin's powerful vocals accompany Peters amazing guitar work to create something you can attempt to sing along to, but just can't keep up with until your throat is red raw.
If you like rock and roll, you'll love this. One of the classics of the 20th century.
