Candy Thunder - AM And The UV

...Back street symphony was the debut album for the brit rock band thunder. They went on to produce many fine albums but nothing really come close to this. This albums contains several rock hyms the title track love walked in - shes so fine along with some of the irreverent fun that made thunder an excellent band to see live - an english man on holiday with the immortal lines "laying down in this spanish bar - the last slammer hit me like a car - I've got the 6am balieric blues - cant even focus on my own tatoos - I had a fight with a german guy - I saw him give my little girl the eye - while he was trying to act so cool - I hit him with a stool. The band has unfortunatley gone there seperate ways now and will be missed on the smaller venue rock scene in the UK.... Read review

...I am sorry if I am in the minority here, but I can't stand this album. I am a die hard madonna fan, who has always absolutely loved all of her stuff, but I just can't get into Hard Candy. I don't know whether it is because I am not a lover of R&B but I find that the songs lack meaning, have no heart or soul, no real tune to speak of (except 4 minutes which is about the only track that I can listen to), they just seem to meandre along with no proper structure to them, with Madonna wailing along in the background. This is certainly NOT Madonna back to her best - there were better songs on the American Life album, even though that got slated. God help us all and the music industry if this is classed as brilliant music.... Read review

...I like sammy daves jr he is black. He is a jew and he is good. He sings his best songs like candy man and black magic and people tree. He is the rat pack with dean martin who is very good and frank sinatra who I do not like because he was a film with heroin called golden arm I do not like herin. I like dean martin when he says thats amoray but I like sammy daves jr more when he sings candy man. I like singing but I am not good at singing so I just move my mouth like candy man candy man who can make the sun shine candy man "I said" but did not say. I do not like the song moving up so I do not sing that with sammy daves jr and I try to not listen when it is on but I can not close my ears like my eyes.
