Advantages: Music to relax to and be inspired by. Disadvantages: Track 7 is not his best
...Peter Green is regarded a one of the finest blues musicians of not only his generation, but maybe of generations to come. Although not as commercially well know as maybe Eric Clapton or Jimi Hendrix (except maybe for his early work as guitarist with Fleetwood Mac), Peter Green's musical legacy has, and will continue to inspire both musicians and listeners alike who truly have the blues in their bloodstream.
GREEN & GUITAR -The Best Of Peter Green 1977-81 captures just a small part of the man's obvious talent, and if your unfamiliar with his work, this collection makes you want to go and find out more.
There is nothing mad or offensive to the ear on this recording. His guitar style is relaxed and soothing, much like his vocals. For fans of Clapton, Santana, JJ Cale or even Chris Rea who don't have Peter Green in their cd collection...

Advantages: Good singing Disadvantages: A little dull in places
...The last UK album release for Peter Andre was the 2002 "Very Best Of" collection. Advantages: A Bargain introduction the on of Britains best Folk Rock Bands Disadvantages: None

They write their own music, draw on traditional tunes and cover contempory artists songs.
Thus we get Nick Lowe's "Rose of England" , Billy Bragg's "Between the Wars" and New Orders "Love Vigilantes". They hark back to traditional tunes with "New York Girls" (also covered by Steeleye Span with Peter Sellers), "Molly Bond", and "Star of The County Down".
Their own composition stand...
