...Never heard of Tom Tom Club? You’d be in the majority, then. But the chances are you have heard of the Talking Heads, the band from which the Club was spawned. If you haven’t heard of Talking Heads, I suggest a trip to your local HMV (or other such record store, I say HMV as it is my music store of choice) so that you can realise what you’ve been missing out on and thank your lucky stars that this humble reviewer was here to arrest your decline into bad music taste. Advantages: Good upbeat live songs, loads of tracks
Disadvantages: too explicit to play infront of young children etc

...blink-182 are a Californian based popular punk rock band and are one of my favourites. Their music has a good feel to it and all of the tracks are usually fast paced and have some incredibly funny lyrics. They are well known for their catchy melodies and hilarious toilet humour, which is particularly evident on this album. The members of blink-182 are Tom Delonge (guitar, vocals), Mark Hoppus (bass, vocals) and Travis Barker (drums), hence the name of this album. Mark and Tom have been in the band since it started back in 1992, however, Travis was a more recent edition and was drafted in from a support band, 'The Aquabats' back in 1998, in the middle of the 'Dude Ranch' tour.
