Real gold legends!

Advantages: Great mix of songs and artists.
Disadvantages: Not always the best of the bands hits.

As a child born in the 80's I have come to adore the music of the time, I'm always on the lookout for a good compilation CD and happened to spot this one during a shopping trip in Asda. Flipping the CD over to look at the track listing my eyes were drawn to one track and I didn't need to read the rest to know I had to have the CD. Capital Gold Eighties Legends contains songs by just that, 80's legends. There is a wide variety of artists providing a wide range of styles from pop to rock, Motown style and funk. It is a 2 disc CD providing 40 great 80's tunes. Because it is an 80's compilation, and most of us would have either heard the songs or heard of them, I wont go into a track by track description, that would spoil the fun of going out to buy the album and getting the know the songs yourself. Eighties Legends

Advantages: Top 80,s artists
Disadvantages: double up of 1 artist

This has to be the best 80,s collection of songs i have seen around. Forty tracks in this compelation and all hits from the artists . Alot of 80,s cd's that are around are full of one hit wonders which are good but this cd brings the best from the Artists of the time. From Queen to Bonnie tyler this is a must for any 80,s music fan. The cd has 2 hours and 30 minutes full of great tracks from great artists. It is a double cd and is black and white cover. Three and a half decades of great music

Advantages: The word Legends says it all
Disadvantages: None

If any of you have read my previous opinions, you'll know that I'm 19 years old. So what the hell is a 19 year old doing writing about this type of music? I know, I know - I wasn't even born when the najority of it was released, but it was growing up listening to my mum's tastes in music that did it. She's the biggest Motown fan I know, and the rest of the music styles just followed naturally for me.... Anyway, enough rambling, onto the album itself. The album is produced by those lovely people at Capital Gold, which seems to be the only station I can find that only plays "old" music - anyone who knows of any more, please tell me!
