I like to try new things out, listen to new genres of music and watch different styles of movies. I did not by any means of the word 'chillout', actually think it would be an album that I would listen to or rather relax to for many hours, but to my great surpise it is. I am 16 going on 17, the fact that I am listening to 'chillout' music is a great shock, i thought it was only the type of music that overweight management executive yuppy types endure or rather enjoy, i was wrong.

This album contains songs made famous by many influential artists and groups. For example it contains songs by bands such as Westlife (Flying Without Wings) although i absolutely loath the band and to be quite honest the song too and The Corrs (Runaway, Erin Shore) and artists such as Enya (May It Be) and Charlotte Church (Carrickfergus). The actual people who have made the song famous do not sing it, the vocals come Ryan and Rachel O'Donnell.

This album contains many songs i like with only a few that i loathe, the few that i dont are generally ones that i never liked in the first place being sung with the original vocals. I am not a fan of either Westlife or Will Young (Evergreen), but they have both got songs on the album that i have been told are remarkeable renditions of the original.

DISC1
1. Theme From Harry's Game
2. May It Be (Song from "Lord of The Rings")
3. Walking in the Air
4. My Heart Will Go On (Song From "Titanic")
5. Evergreen
6. Runaway
7. Books of Days (Song From The "Film Far and Away")
8. Women of Ireland
9. Martha's Harbour
10. Carricfergus
11. Fields of Gold
12. Star of County Down
13. Met You in Mullingar
14. Scarborough Fair
15. Valentino
16. Erin Shore
17. Flying Without Wings

DISC 2
1. Theme from Braveheart
2. Wind Beneath My Wings
3. Irish Boy (Cal)
4. Father & Son
5. Watermark
6. Only a Woman's Heart
7. Sounds of Silence
8. Have I Told You Lately
9. She Moves Through the Fair
10. How Wonderful You Are
11. Miller's Crossing
12. Promise

17. Titanic

My favourites from the ablum are as follows with the duration in minutes:-

**DISC 1**

**Clannad (Theme From Harry's Game)
Duration: 6.13
A song to which i cannot for the life of me understand the lyrics, they definately do not sound to be of the English language, but it is a great song all the same although a little long at just over 6 minutes.

**Enya (May It Be)
Duration: 3.18

This as some may remember is actually a song from the brilliant film, The Lord of The Rings. This is a very relaxing song with a brilliant and soothing voice, with a relaxing backing track.

**All About Eve (Martha's Harbour)
Duration: 3.42
A very relaxing song with a great set of vocals to accompany the lyrics, i have never heard of the band before but i was amazed at the sheer brilliance of the song. The vocals are occasionally accompanied by sounds of the waves clashing about.

**Sting (Fields of Gold)
Duration: 3.12
I thought the original by Sting was amazing, this version is also very good, but with female vocals. If i remember correctly this rendition was used on a Cancer Research T.V. Advert not so long ago.

The Corrs (Erin Shore)
Duration: 4.07
This song, as with most of the others i thought the original was great, there are no vocals in this song, just an instrumental, it is very relaxing and appears to be a sort of celtic folk song.

**DISC 2**

**Theme From Braveheart
Duration: 3.03
This song starts off with pipe playing and is realling soothing, then you hear the almighty sound of the horns or bag pipes kick in. This is a great song if you feel like putting a Kilt on and wearing some war paint in your front room, your family may start to get worried but just assure them it is a phase or a midlife crisis that will pass soon, or you could shout "Who needs viagra. IM WILLIAM WALLACE!".

**Paul Simon (Sound of Silence)
Duration: 3.16
A rather interesting sound of silence, it is a melody of multiple different instruments but without any vocal attachment, a great song.

**Gordon Haskell (How Wonderful You Are)
Duration: 4.17
A laid back song, a celtic Jazz song if their is such a thing. Really relaxing, slow moving song, great for a busy day at work/college/school/on the couch.

**Tom/Rachel Morrison (Promise)
Duration: 4.16
A song that contains female vocals, great, really soothing with a soft voice and contains no pointless screaming like certain other songs.

I would say that i bought this album approximately a month ago, it only cost me about £12.99 and was well worth it. I would reccomend anyone who likes chillout music to buy the album. I am only giving it 4/5 stars because i dont like some of the songs on it, but that is mainly because of my taste in music and not because they are awful songs by most peoples opinion.

Jimmy:)
