Advantages: Sights, Activities, Work Disadvantages: Visa process
Will be heading out to Adelaide later this year with the girlfriend for a working holiday, and thought a review of what we have found out so far and what I already know of the place might be useful for others thinking about doing the same.
I lived in Adelaide till I was about 10 and have been back there a number of times since (from the UK), and have to say I have never been short of things to do there! Adelaide (like many places in Australia) is a great place to go for outdoor activities such as walking, sightseeing and water-sports. Although the city can seem a bit confusing and overwhelming at first, it does not take long to get used to, and is generally easy to get around with excellent public transport and wide straight roads (although lots of traffic lights!). Company:
TY beanies are amazing little teddies, that come in all shapes and form. Some of them are in the shape of teddy bears, the traditional style that sit on their bum with their arms aside them. Though some of them are actual animals, many creatures from the sea to the sky. One of the bears is called Celebrations.
Celebrations:
Celebrations is quite a positive name, suggesting there is something definitely worth celebrating about this little bear! Indeed, he was released in 2002 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee. I must say, that is quite a special occasion for a celebratory TY beanie!
