Advantages: Collection of versatile singers. Disadvantages: Several song selection for selective artists are not suitable.
Season 4 still remains my favourite thus far perhaps due to the versatility and unique style of the contestants. There were even some very good singers not making it to the top 12 which says a lot about what you are going to experience in this wonderfully put together CD.
The notable tracks for me are:
"Independence Day" by Carrie Underwood
"You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" by Nadia Turner.
"I Don't Want To Be" by Bo Bice
"Everytime You Go Away" by Anthony Fedorov
"A House Is Not A Home" by Anwar Robinson
The main letdown for me is they should have changed Constantine Maroulis song to "Bohemian Rhapsody" where he shined in the competition instead of "My Funny Valentine" which he did sort of ok for me.
As for the last track which features all the contestants is beautifully arranged. They all sound so good together ...
Advantages: Some good remixes and the price Disadvantages: Not many, some fillers but i suppose you get that with every album
This cd is an absolue bargain. I would highly recommend purchasing this as Bad Boy and Puff Daddy are well known for producing good remixes and the series of albums was a very good idea, another money spinning venture but one for the fans who had remixes on b sides of cd singles and recorded off the radio!
Special Delivery - G Dep, Ghostface Killah, Keith Murray & Craig Mack. Quite a repetitive tune but a cult favourite. More likely to hear it in the clubs
I Need A Girl Part 2 - Ginuwine, Mario Winans, P Diddy & Loon. Video and single released off the back of the successful part 1. Some say they prefer this version, i actual do and its one of the best tracks on the album
Bad Boy For Life - P Diddy, Busta Rhymes & MOP. A shouty version of the original. Not bad but too much going on lyrically for me, my ears couldnt take it
I Need ...
This is one of the first compilation CD's I ever bought. At the time I thought it was fantastic, but over the years I've seemed to have grown a little sick of some of the songs.
If anyone remembers the days of Shaggy and Oh Carolina, well, you'll like this compilation as it's full of old songs like that, (and that song sure does bring abck quite a few memories!)
Artists include:
Reel 2 Reel, Haddaway, M People, Aswad, Sister Sledge, Shaggy, Robin S, 2 Unlimited, Capella, Prodigy, The Shamen, Snap, Seal, S'Express and Black Box....
As you can tell by some of the above names, most of them are the oldies!
Brilliant to keep for 'old time sakes'. ...

U.K. DJ, record label designer, and impresario Trevor Jackson compiles this sampler of his label's eclectic electronica that includes contributions from Pankow performing a version of Prince's "Girls and Boys," the angular eccentricities of Mu's "Tigerbastard," and the subtle ambient stylings of Circlesquare.
