Do bands need to evolve? Do bands really need to push the boundaries with every album? Not if your Jimmy Eat World. Some might say they just churn out the same old stuff each year but I say why change a good thing?
Jimmy Eat World are kings at producing bouncy, easy to listen to music and this album is no different. From the moment you put the cd in the player and press play you are greeted by typical Jimmy Eat World sounds.
Chase This Light picks up from where Futures left off. Its another fantasically easy to listen album whilst exercising, tidying, whatever. It sure helps get through your chores!
The album debuted at number five on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 62,000 copies in its first week just showing their growing popularity. With each studio albumit has grown and grown, yes probably spurned on by the recent years growth of "emo" but mostly it has to be down to their playability.
