...average for a greatest hits CD. That brings me onto next point- it’s a Greatest Hits CD from Chuck Mangione, which was brought out a few years back. It is a collection of all the highlights from Chuck’s first decade of popularity, from 1971 to 1981. I believe it is the greatest hits CD that would make and indeed does make it popular with children and adults. For children interested in jazz and excellent brass playing, this is ideal. For adults, this would be good for reminiscing, because Chuck has been around for at least 30 years, and some of the tracks from the CD are film themes, such as the Cannonball Run Theme (love that film!). All these tracks have had massive impact on Chuck’s career as a musician, bringing him awards, fame and popularity. Advantages: Beautiful music, amazing playing

...Hey Ciao!! For those of you who may have read some of my earlier reviews, I did a review on the artist Chuck Mangione, and one of his albums. I was recently introduced to his most recent album (well, I say recent, it was released in 2000!), and it’s called Everything For Love, and I think it’s named in reference to one of the album tracks, I Do Everything For Love. The concept of the album is really nice, or as Chuck said in the front cover, ‘ having been blessed with lots of love in my life, it should come as no surprise that this CD is filled with compositions of mine that are love songs’. It’s recommended retail price is £13.99, but we got it off Amazon.co.uk for around 8 pounds. I think nowadays people rarely play the RRP for CDs! Advantages: The roots of Coheed & Cambria
Disadvantages: Not to everyones tastes

...Coheed & Cambria, the prog-rock band constructing their own epic sci-fi story to rival that of George Lucas (well, perhaps!), formed in the late 90s in New York the quartet of Claudio Sanchez, Mic Todd, Travis Stever and Josh Eppard started out as Shabutie before the huge haired Sanchez broke his idea of the Coheed & Cambria project to the band. The Second Stage Turbine Blade is the ending result of this, the second book in the story (Prequel as yet unreleased) tells of Coheed & Cambrias existence and demise and the murder of their children in one whole album and yet their names live on through the bands own moniker. Opening with the subtle and tinny "Second Stage Turbine Blade" the delicate piano melody is repeated often throughout the album and its sequel "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3" as a dramatic device to indicate...
