In the Night Garden - a musical journey - the album. Is just what it is.
i haven't yet purchased this album but i will be in the near future. It cost £7.99 from Tesco, but I am sure it is available in other shops and definately from Amazon.
It is one cd on for 45 minutes made by BBC music. It is just like watching the tv programme but with no vision and is very handy for putting on in the car.
The cd starts with the opening theme, to then take ... ...Garden Dance before going to In the Night Garden closing theme.
this CD will keep children occupied for hours and will teach your child to sing and dance with all the characters.
The only problem is it does get a bit monotonous after your have heard it for about the fifth time, but thats what children enjoy.
its great for a passing time activity for the children while you are at work, making tea, or just relaxing with them

...car journeys and have a Charlie and Lola fan this CD is fantastic for them and you. It has saved us from hell on many a car trip, for the pure sillyness and fun of the songs and lyrics.
The CD combines out takes from the TV series of Charlie and Lola talking, with music from the show, and tracks I haven't heard before.
Highlights include, 'The bestest in The Barn' which has the lyrics on the inner sleeve (and apparently you can watch the video ... ...tried this yet), 'Germs' which has the best bug noises you will ever hear (I challenge you not to laugh), and 'Bat Cat' which is pure genius.
I can't wait for an excuse to put this on in the car, it has us all in a good mood and singing along, in no time. The best value childrens CD I have purchased for a long time.
PS I would happily listen to it without the children, but don't tell anyone! ...

...many of you who read my other reviews may know, my son is a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh. I seem to be buying endless Winnie the Pooh paraphernalia to fuel my son's enjoyment and imagination. However, Winnie the Pooh is not where his love for Disney stops. I have always tried to get my son into Disney as I love the endless classic films and programs that they release. Disney films have been something that I have never quite grown out of. I may not ... ...To help my son appreciate Disney like I do, I have built up a collection of Disney films and books. But the one thing I did not have was a Disney album. All those tunes that I hum along to in my head, and that I wanted my son to learn too. From the Laughing Policeman sat up front, with the Ugly Ducking crying into a blue hanky, the Big Bad Wolf peers around the side, and Nellie the Elephant aboard too, I assume she is returning to Bombay like the song says.
