Advantages: Great work by the kittens, features the Jingle Dogs! Disadvantages: Not for cat haters, not suitable for everyone
...the follow up album to Meowy Christmas, entitled "Here Comes Santa Claws", is better, but in my opinion, Meowy Christmas is the best, since the kittens were more about the music in this first album, when the fame and glamour hadn't tainted their musical genius. In my opinion, they sold out for their second album, where they tried to appeal more to the casual listener and their music suffered as a result. But thats just my opinion as a die hard Jingle ... ..."Rhythm and Mews". Its just too painful to talk about.

This is my first review so I am not sure what is expected of me but after looking at other comments I guess other members will tell me where I go wrong!!!
I decided to write a review about this CD because basically I was really impressed with it. There are quite a few nursery rhyme CDs on the market and knowing which one to chose is a bit of a headache. Some are very cheap whilst others want premium prices. I never know what the difference is going ... ...our house and I was getting a bit sick of them so I went onto amazon and bought this one. It said that they were modern versions of classic nursery rhymes and for once the description was spot on.
There are 18 nursery rhymes and each one sounds very original. The words are the same as ever but at least I can stand to listen to these at the moment.

I bought my son this for xmas and it is fantastic.He loves it , as it has alot of great songs on it , all from his favourite channels on cbeebies.This album is perfect for my son to listen to through the day,as he has a little dance along to it and gibbers along to the words.(ahh)It's great hearing your kids laugh and seeing them smile to something they really enjoy,and I was really made up knowing he enjoys it.
Anyway about ... ...teletubbies,tweenies and bill & ben,and my favourites are the lunch song which lists all different sorts of food which children enjoy,it encourages them to wash their hands before eating.
Also the birthday song which lets them know if it is somebody's birthday.This is a fantastic album and alot of effort has gone into it from the bbc at cbeebies,it's definately ideal for birthday party's and just for general everyday fun.Your children can definately ...
