Advantages: Your Bob the Builder mad children might like it! Disadvantages: Only a couple of good songs

I would say that this CD would have a rather short shelf life, I mean, there's only so many times you can listen to Can we fix it? I can't compare this against a similar product as it's the first time I've bought this type of CD, the reaon I bought it was because I have been impressed ... ...that this product would be of a similar standard. Sadly not.
I have no idea of the retail cost as I picked mine up at a boot sale, I think i'd be kicking myself if I'd bought it at it's full price!
I don't think even the would-be Bob's and Wendy's will like this CD for too long, though I can't speak from experience because my son's a little on the young side to be totally mad about a tv show yet.....I don't think I could bear the thought of him ...
Advantages: Nice mix of some great tracks Disadvantages: A few of the tracks are bad versions (at least not what I'm used to).
I love this cd because it reminds me of my childhood, my parents used to play the cassette tape in the car.
There are 25 tracks on the cd and all good clear sound.
Track 1 - Nellie the elephant: This is a good track and I really enjoy listening to it, it has a good rhythm & beat. It's about an elephant that runs away from the circus and returns home to the jungle.
Track 2 - The runaway Train: This is a really good track and I listen to it a lot. ... ...and the reactions of the engineer/fireman/porter etc.
Track 3 - In the middle of the House: Great track, but if you actually listen to the lyrics its kind of about killing people (the song is about a train that comes through the middle of someone's house and when there are people they don't like then they sit them in the middle of the house ie in the way of the train)
Track 4 - Grandfather's Clock: Although I love this song I can't stand the version ...
I bought this cd for my 6 month old daughter. My daughter seems to be soothed by the music, i tend to play it when i put her to sleep, instead of using a mobile, she drops off very quickly using this cd, so i am pleased, however i do not personally rate the music myself! The cd has various songs playing which are very soothing and calming, we tend to leave it playing on repeat whilst she is asleep, and if she wakes up in the middle of the night, ...
Advantages: 30 great tracks with all different themes Disadvantages: A few dud tracks though to be honest this isnt really a disadvantage
