Advantages: A great relaxation Album Disadvantages: Erm, some awful songs
I like to try new things out, listen to new genres of music and watch different styles of movies. I did not by any means of the word 'chillout', actually think it would be an album that I would listen to or rather relax to for many hours, but to my great surpise it is. I am 16 going on 17, the fact that I am listening to 'chillout' music is a great shock, i thought it was only the type of music that overweight management executive yuppy types endure or rather enjoy, i was wrong.
This album contains songs made famous by many influential artists and groups. For example it contains songs by bands such as Westlife (Flying Without Wings) although i absolutely loath the band and to be quite honest the song too and The Corrs (Runaway, Erin Shore) and artists such as Enya (May It Be) and Charlotte Church (Carrickfergus). The actual people who ...
know her to well as you’ll have an earful of the misses which is fair!
Now, I know this is the Spring 2002 edition of The Annual by Ministry of Sound but these tunes are still heard and some are still in the top 40!
So if you want to be hip, you want to live the summer you’ve dreamed of this last winter then buy this, relax, chillout, enjoy and go wild.
One tune I recommend a listen to is track 5 on disc 2 by Future Breeze ~ Temple of Dreams.
At first this tune has a way of settling your nerves and chilling you out, but soon after this the tune goes deeper and pulls you up. You end up throwing your arms to the beat and dancing as crazy as you can!
The only thing that lets down this amazing CD/Album is the problem with Disc1. It’s debateable, depending on what your into, but in my eye’s and ears, I think ...
Advantages: Great music to have dance too Disadvantages: Bit Samey
I got this album for christmas and was unsure whether i would like it as i normally get clubland cds. I am very into my dance music and do buy alot of these cds.
With the boxset you get 2 cd's and a DVD of Music videos which is original and i beleive you can only get this with the annual cd's. Unfortunatly it doesn't seem to have that many tracks on it for a big boxset and frankly most of them i haven't heard of but im up for new music!! It all depends on what type of music you like but it seems to me that they have crammed all the good tunes at the beggining of the cd which doent make me want to listen to the rest, im always skipping tracks!! But its very beaty good to dance i suppose good backround music but not party music.
I have got previous annuals and it was the same i didn't most of the tracks but they where brought ...

Album Notes
Truth be told, the title of this 2002 compilation is somewhat of a misnomer, because there are a goodly number of tunes here that you can't really chill out to, specifically that jams by Nightmares On Wax, Faithless, Badly Drawn Boy, Wok Institute, Brother Brown, and Goldfrapp. But there are some mellow tunes, so it's still safe for usage in your local club's chill out room.
