Chillout Lounge Classics - Various Artists

Advantages: A great relaxation Album
Disadvantages: Erm, some awful songs

...I like to try new things out, listen to new genres of music and watch different styles of movies. I did not by any means of the word 'chillout', actually think it would be an album that I would listen to or rather relax to for many hours, but to my great surpise it is. I am 16 going on 17, the fact that I am listening to 'chillout' music is a great shock, i thought it was only the type of music that overweight management executive yuppy types endure or rather enjoy, i was wrong. This album contains songs made famous by many influential artists and groups. For example it contains songs by bands such as Westlife (Flying Without Wings) although i absolutely loath the band and to be quite honest the song too and The Corrs (Runaway, Erin Shore) and artists such as Enya (May It Be) and Charlotte Church (Carrickfergus). Advantages: Helps relax and unwind.....
Disadvantages: May already own a lot of the songs.....

...of the waves. Then the melody starts...which is beautiful... Love this track. Another good chillout choice. 7 ~ Green Lady ~ Martin Taylor Soft beginning of strings...then goes bit corny.... Keep waiting for some dodgy bloke to start croaning... but it doesn't happen. Sounds like it could be used as a sound track for a dodgy eighties love story..... So all in all, skip no 7 on this disk. 8 ~ Street Tattoo ~ Stan Getz This is better...starts with good percussion, and a nice beat. Then saxaphone cut's in... Very sexy, relaxing track. Would work in lounge with glass of wine, bathroom or bedroom!! 9 ~ Beautiful ~ The Past Present Organisation Strong bass... Starts with whisperings of 'aint always umbrella's in the rain' When the vocal starts properly, it sounds a little like Kylie... All in all a nice little track, but maybe... Read review

Advantages: Plenty of Quality Tracks for your Money. Familar famous tracks alongside superb less known tracks.
Disadvantages: Not really for those with short attention spans. Mixing between songs can be lengthy.
