...The Chillout Session from ministry of sound is basically what it says on the box, a laid back mix of blissful beats and chilled out house. Now, don’t get me wrong, you may like this album, but it was far to slow for me. The reason I bought it was because I knew a few of the songs that were on it. I was looking for Euphoric Breakdown, which is another kind of chilled out mix compilation album but the shop I was in didn’t have it, so I opted for this instead. For me, the music played on the CD is just too slow, maybe a bit too chilled and I just couldn’t get to grips with liking it. There are a few tracks on the CD such as ‘Rob D – Clubbed to death’ that make an excellent track to play in the background of a lazy evening, or when your lying in bed with your eyes shut, other tracks such as ‘Moby... ...more tracks - but these are the ones to listen to before buying. This collation is a laid back mix of blissful beats and chilled out house. You may like this album, if you really want SLOW music to dance to. I was familiar with a few of the artists and tracks that were on the leaf and I bought it because I was looking for something different to chill out to. Either after a night out; or for a night when the budget wouldn't stretch as far as the clubbing scene. ...This is the 2nd chilled release in the euphoria series. It certainly delivers.....as the last one did!! This album again features some well known dance tracks remixed for ambient effect by extracting the bass and beats with long, emotional sounds. There are more famous names like BBE,Xstasia,Sasha,Three Drives. This album is for the post clubbing experience after all sweat breaking groovin'...you just want to chill out...relax! This album takes you there!The mixing is brilliant as it uses waves to take you through the change of sound. Red Jerry (owner of Hooj tunes)uses his computer to mix it which is why it says 'digitally mixed by Red Jerry' Last year chilled euphoria was the biggest selling chillout album and caused other labels to release similar albums.
