Duffy - Mercy This is a song of Duffy's debut album that made it straight to number one from the first internet download releases. Her music is said to be similar to the music from Amy Winehouse. Duffy is originally from Wales and became famous from a talent show. *2. Rihanna - Don't Stop The Music A catchy very lively song by Rihanna similar to some of her other releases favourite of mine on this album. This song is from Rihanna's album 'Good Girl Gone Bad'. *3. Basshunter - Now You're Gone I had heard this song before I heard it by Basshunter not sure where but it was familiar, a really fast easy to get into song. ...With three cds and over three hours of music, Pure Garage Platinum brings together the best sounds of the five preceding Pure Garage albums stretching back to 2000, whilst adding a few ‘new’ songs along the way. There are 50 tracks, presented on three black compact discs with futuristic silver and blue fonts, which match the colours on the box of the set itself. There is no specific feel to each disc but the third disc features the most new material. From the 50 tracks on the album, only of 13 them are new, so only 25% of the total. Having said that, the other 75% span five double-cd boxed sets so it is difficult to say whether it is worth buying. For someone who wants to know more about, or get into, the garage scene and wants a good summary of the last three years of garage music, you can’t go wrong with this... Read review

...My first taste of music was that of being brought up in a house where Rock 'n' Roll was the most played even during the 70s. I also got to hear alot of the Osmonds, Bay city rollers and ABBA, watching my elder sisters using hairbrushes as microphones and sining along to Top of the Pops. Ofcourse thrown in with that was the many other 50s, 60s & 70s artists as the family was very varied on thier taste in music. One day my mum gave me a couple of cassette tapes (If you can remember what they are) to go along with a second hand tape recorder that i was given. The tapes she gave me were "Walk right back with the Everlys" and "Bobby Vees Greatest hits" I cherished these tapes and memorised every song on them since i played them so many times, i am supprised they didnt wear out!
