So it is with trembling fingertips (making typing difficult) that I begin. I am sitting here staring at the CD cover of 21 year old Christina Aguilera on the CD of the same name - Christina Aguilera. For a start I hate that! It causes confusion, especially when you get to my age. Can you imagine the scene? Teenager in family: Hey Wayne, have you heard Christina Aguilera's new CD? Wayne: I'm not sure what's it called? Teenager in family: Christina Aguilera! Wayne : I know, her name what's it called? (teenager gives weird look to aged family member and gives up!) Advantages: Brilliant voice of an angel

...This album is definity "What a girl wants", I don't know about the guys but there are a few songs that you may like! We have twelve varied tracks in this album, full of recognisable tunes. Christina has a voice of an angel and truly is talented. She definitly beats the other pop princesses such as Britney Spears. If you want a more mature selection of songs, choose this. This debut album may not be brilliant sompared to her second album "Stripped", but this is worth getting for the singles she has released. Here are the tracks: 1) Genie in a bottle: This is the very first single Christina released and hit No 1 in the UK charts. At the time this song was very original and still is, because it has become an anthem that everyone knows or has heard of. ...This is a wonderful CD ehich is well worth the £12.99 I payed for it. It contains hits such as Genie In A Bottle, What A Girl Wants and I Turn To You. It also has her forthcoming single So Emotional on it. The lyrics are included in the inset alongside some pictures of the artist. I feel the songs are better at th beginning of the CD although they are of a constantly high standard throughout. Christaina Aguilera is amuch better singer than teenage pop icon Britney Spears with a much better voice and personality. This CD would make a good buy as a gift for children and adults alike. It is not loud with lyrics which are heavily disguised behind the music like many modern day songs in the charts. It should be an album which has a long durability.... Read review
