Advantages: Lots of different songs- a great CD plus bonus DVD!
Disadvantages: you will have to battle to get it turned off!

...Cbeebies Album is one of those CDs that are continuously played by your child. Although I am frustrated by the constant cbeebies singing eminating through out my house I cant help but admit that it is a very good album + DVD. It contains 30 songs on the first album and they are lots of fun songs from the cbeebies programmes that my son sings and dances around to. It includes everything from Bob the builder to Big Cook Little Cook and The Tweenies!! They are catchy songs that you will inevitably end up humming to long after it is turned ff. The main thing is that it provides constant fun for your child! The second CD is a DVD and it contains a quiz and Music videos amongst others, so it is a bonus to have this too as it provides a visual music display for your child to follow along with. Advantages: Early Elvis. A mix of traditional and rock'n'roll Christmas songs.
Disadvantages: Yey another of many Christmas Albums

...For a number of decades, it was the vogue for popular artistes to release a Christmas CD. Stars including Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, The Carpenters, Andy Williams and John Denver (to name but a few) all have al album included in their discography that were released early in their careers and have since been re-mastered. Elvis Presley originally recorded this, his Christmas album, in the summer of 1957 (and yes I have the vinyl). It was digitally re-mastered and released on CD on October 1999. Accordingly, the sound quality of the music is unsurprisingly good. But what about the songs and Elvis’ rendition? It was only Elvis’ fourth album and his style is still relatively new, sincere and rich (sadly qualities that seemed to fade as Elvis’ musical career progressed).
