Advantages: great selection of christmas classics
Disadvantages: singers doing covers of good songs,

...Wrapping up your christmas presents! Putting up the decorations! What else could make you feel any more merrier than singing along to past and xmas tunes. This album seems to always be on sale in shops as soon as December starts to creep in. I'll give them credit though, once in a while I've taken a look on the back cover, yes despite the fact that I already own it, to find that two more songs have been added which I particularily enjoy. Making it exceedingly difficult for me to not buy it again. CD 1 has all the memorable tracks. Songs which I remember always being played at the end of term school christmas party. Sadly the edition I have does not inclue Whams' Last Christmas. Which I distinctively remember being a favourite at the time! Advantages: Christmas nostalgia
Disadvantages: Too much Sinatra

...I love Christmas and have to admit to frequently going completely OTT in several areas. Over the years, I have amassed a vast amount of Christmas albums: some good, some bad and some that should really have been thrown away long ago. Among my collection of Christmas albums is The Sinatra Christmas Album. I did not intend writing a review on this but came across it whilst looking for another product on Ciao. I saw it and well that was that, the review had to follow. The album was first recorded on 11th November 1987, the tracks having mainly been assembled from other previously recorded albums; most from the Sinatra Family Christmas recorded in 1968.
