Advantages: Lots of big tunes Disadvantages: One average tune
of things (but in a more complete way than Kurtis Blow's 1980 recoridng ?Christmas Rappin'?

2.?Let The Jingle Bells Rock? - Sweet Tee
Known for her 'Love Rap' ?Why Did It Have To Be Me? (in LL Cool J's ?I Need Love? style), New York's Sweet Tee comes to thrown down a tune that acts as the complete oppostie to that rack Hip Hop ballad as we see that she rides the 'Amen' break and comes out with some fly rhymes that concentrate everything around warming imaginery that you tend to connect with Christmas time.

3.?Dana Dane Is Coming To Town? - Dana Dane
Here we get a funky jam that I really can't see any rooms for complaints in as we find that Dana Dane comes in with some storytelling rhymes that seem to take on all that Slick Rick was known for (even though he didn't debut as a solo artist until the year after ...
Advantages: great selection of christmas classics Disadvantages: singers doing covers of good songs,
- Peace.
We also have Michael Andrews & Gary Jules - Mad World. So if anybody out there is feeling miserable or down this year, might be wise to skip past this downright depressing song before the piano does its tinkling introduction.

Don't get me wrong I do like the song, but just because it was a christmas number 1 doesn't mean you need to stick it on an album which has so far managed to be reasonably up beat. You wouldn't put Bob the Builders Can we Fix it? or Girls Alouds Sound of the Underground on a christmas album, (well I hope not anyway) so why put on a track which could make you want to put your head in a gas oven?
Overall I do love this album. Yes I did say love!! I've had it for a couple of years now and I ...
Advantages: Great soundtrack, thorougly enjoyable from start to finish Disadvantages: None
After reviewing the Tom Cruise film yesterday I thought I should review what I think is the best version of War of the Worlds (bar the original novel of course).
***Be aware that this review may well contain spoilers for the story, however even if you know the story from front to back, it would not spoil the enjoyment of this album.***
~The Album~
Released in 1978 this album (if you don't know what an album is, ask your parents lol) tells the tale of a Martian invasion as told in H. G. Wells novel of the same name.
The album consists of two discs and came in its own plastic sleeve, complete with a book/booklet which details the story as it unfolds and full lyrics for all the songs. The booklet also includes some marvellous paintings by Peter Goodfellow, Geoff Taylor and Michael Trim, my opinion is that The Birds by Geoff Taylor ...
