Advantages: Great lyrics | Very funny | Very original Disadvantages: Some weak tracks | Will offend | Hard to find
...If you’ve heard the previous two South Park albums, especially the soundtrack for the movie, then you will then know that Matt Stone and Trey Parker can be a dab hand at coming up with twisted songs as well as animated shows. The third, and less well-known album came out with minimal fuss in the Christmas of 1999.
Mr Hankey’s Christmas Classics is anything but the Christmas albums we are used to and this is no surprise considering who it’s by. With a mixture of old and new Christmas songs the album has the trademark South Park shocks and humour that the show has got only this time in a truly festive way.
It is worth pointing out that this is the prolonged soundtrack to the episode Mr Hankey’s Christmas Classics in the third season of South Park. It has a few more extra songs because of the 20-minute length of the show.

Advantages: Good Songs, No Fillers Disadvantages: Old Songs in a New Package
...This album includes all the usual festive classics that you expect to hear droning from every department store and supermarket as from the middle of October every year. The up side to this album is that they haven't padded out the track list with lesser known songs which is great if you don't like having to keep skipping tracks. The downside is that there aren't many modern songs on here which is a shame given that this is a pretty modern release. The only up-to-date track is "Santa Baby" by Kylie Minogue and even that is simply a re-recording of a classic Christmas hit! The rest of the album consists of the usual festive tracks like "Do They Know It's Christmas?" by Band Aid and "Mistletoe and Wine" by Cliff Richard.
