Advantages: great selection of christmas classics
Disadvantages: singers doing covers of good songs,

...Wrapping up your christmas presents! Putting up the decorations! What else could make you feel any more merrier than singing along to past and xmas tunes. This album seems to always be on sale in shops as soon as December starts to creep in. I'll give them credit though, once in a while I've taken a look on the back cover, yes despite the fact that I already own it, to find that two more songs have been added which I particularily enjoy. Making it exceedingly difficult for me to not buy it again. CD 1 has all the memorable tracks. Songs which I remember always being played at the end of term school christmas party. Sadly the edition I have does not inclue Whams' Last Christmas. Which I distinctively remember being a favourite at the time! Advantages: Good Songs, No Fillers
Disadvantages: Old Songs in a New Package

...This album includes all the usual festive classics that you expect to hear droning from every department store and supermarket as from the middle of October every year. The up side to this album is that they haven't padded out the track list with lesser known songs which is great if you don't like having to keep skipping tracks. The downside is that there aren't many modern songs on here which is a shame given that this is a pretty modern release. The only up-to-date track is "Santa Baby" by Kylie Minogue and even that is simply a re-recording of a classic Christmas hit! The rest of the album consists of the usual festive tracks like "Do They Know It's Christmas?" by Band Aid and "Mistletoe and Wine" by Cliff Richard. Advantages: loads of tracks
Disadvantages: some seem quite dated

...A six CD box set which showcases a huge selection of tracks from the drum and bass scene. Drum and bass has gained huge popularity over the years and has gained alot of followers thanks to its breaknecks speeds of drums, bass and sample ridden madness. These tracks show you what is all about and my gosh there is alot of them. The tracks span right back to the early nineties and some can sound very dated but interesting nether the less. Producers which stand out on the album are the big heavy weights such as 'Dillinja' with his awesome track 'Grimey' with its huge pitch bending bass synth and the unforgettable vocal sample, this one will keep you going till the early hours. Then there is J-magik, with his equally powerful but more jazzy power rhythms. If your a fan of this hi speed music you will defenitely find this box set... Read review
