Advantages: Great Opera Tenor, A truely gifted and talented singer Disadvantages: Prehaps give Silent night a miss until December.
...the electrifying performance of Paul Potts singing Nessun Dorma that evening.
It wasn't that long after his first appearance on the show that Paul Potts went on to progress and deservedly win last years 'Britain's got Talent'. Paul Potts 'One Chance' Album (Christmas Edition) CD -----------------
Since his superb run on the 'Britain's Got Talent' show I decided I would very much like to get my hands on a Paul Potts CD, so being this near the jolly season I went out and bought the Christmas Edition of Paul Potts latest CD called 'One Chance' which has an extra disc with four great festive tracks (Silent Night) that are sung to perfection by Paul Potts.

Advantages: Technically very good, virtuoso performances, good prog Disadvantages: A little dated, won't make you look trendy

The band members are all really good players so musically it's of a high standard and the tunes are good; it just lacks something, probably a vocalist with a distinctive voice - particularly noticeable on some songs, like "Sometime world".
It's also maybe just too good: it's technically superb and great for a bit of loud navel gazing but doesn't make you go "Whooooaa!"
This new edition features the original album mix, newly remastered from the original tapes, plus rare BBC Radio sessions, live recordings from 1972 and a bonus disc featuring the band's 1972 BBC Radio One "In concert" appearance which launched "Argus".
An ideal present if you (or your dad) are into prog rock, and if you like the Thin Lizzy twin axes or the rolling country tinted American rock from the early 70s....

This two disk set, as it conveniently points out on the front, contains 36 tracks by the man himself, chronicling his time in the world's biggest band ever to his time in Wings and even his extensive solo career. I'm not saying that it wasn't realised in order to earn...
