Advantages: A few really good song; Great singing; Amazing piano solos Disadvantages: Some boring songs; A lot of intrumental songs
...This was the first album I'd bought by PeggyLee, after hearing a few of her songs from the internet, and I was quite impressed.
It may just be my taste, but in my opinion quite a lot of the songs are dull, and I almost always skip the instrumentals.
PeggyLee is brilliant, as usual, and George Shearing is enough to make you want to take up Piano.
The album's best songs have to be -
2: I Lost My Sugar In Salt Lake City
7: Blue Prelude
8. You Came A Long Way From St Louis
9: Always True To You In My Fashion
11: Get Out Of Town (has an AMAZING piano solo)
13: Nobody's Heart
Some of the songs take a while to get into, but you probably won't regret buying this album....

Advantages: Memories of christmas past and thought of Christmas future. Disadvantages: None
...goes to Hollywood sits at the end of cd one with The Power of Love.
So, cd one is bouncy, Christmassy, music in the most part that almost all will remember hearing. Well worth listening to.
***CD TWO***
still follows the Christmas theme, but is slower and more traditional. Cliff Richard opens with Misteltoe and Wine and that flows into Aled Jones Walking in the Air. Real traditions follows as Bing Crosby sings about a White Christmas and then Nat King Cole sings the Christmas Song. Dean Martin asks to Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! And Mud tell us they are Lonely This Christmas. Matt Monro sings Mary's Boy Child (we al know who he is don't we?) and PeggyLee sings about a Winter Wonderland. Adam Faith with his Lonely Pup (In A Christmas Shop) is followed by the Supremes getting excited because Santa Clause Is Coming To Town...

I have always been a big fan of Blue and Lee has always been my fave. He is just so extremely talented with a voice of an angel.
This album sees him change from boyband member to solo star and i would have to say that it was definately a good decision to try his hand at his own work.
This album, in my opinion, hears musical influences from such artists as Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross among others.
Debut single, Army of Lovers, starts the album off and as the album plays on, it just gets better and better.
Second Single, Turn Your Car Around, is an acoustic style track which i love to listen...
