I have been a fan of Good charlotte scince a mate told me about them. At firs i wasnt that sure on them an odd looking band with eyeliner and earings. But after listering to a few track i started to like them. When this album came out that was the changing point, I loved Good Charlotte. ...Following the success of their first two albums ‘Good Charlotte’ and ‘The Young & The Hopeless’, Good Charlotte have a go at being ‘dark’ on us, supposedly going darker within their lyrics and heightening their overall sound. Now, being someone who loved their first two albums, I will honestly say that I would have loved this regardless, but it doesn’t mean that my opinion should be heard any less than a neutral. In fairness, Joel Madden’s quotes of this being a much darker record are not proven correct, with the same relative beat as was so evident on ‘The Young & The Hopeless’, yet with the success of that album what need is their to change things. ...Good Charlotte - The chronicles of life and death, well where do i start! This is one of their best creations so far just after an additon to their 4 member band they release this great album. 15 excellent tracks including ' Meet my maker' a bonus on some of the CDs. I've loved listining to this album and i've had it for ages now, still can't turn it off! You can find the lyrics in the inside sleeve which can't be found anywhere else as Epic records won't publish them on the internet due to copyright reasons. 1. Once upon a time - the battle for life and death (instrumental) - A short intro to the album. 2. The chronicles of life and death - Taken from the title of the album this is an upbeat tune. 3. ...The follow up to Good Charlotte's 2002's hugely successful 'The Young And The Hopeless' sees Good Charlotte explore darker and deeper material, both lyrically and musically showing that they've grown out of the brash pop-punk of their two previous albums.
