This album caps off the success of the band sum 41. They have come along way from their oldest and greatest rock tunes such as 'in too deep' and 'over my head' which were from their old albums and have shown their success in rock music by producing this great new album called 'Chuck' which holds many new catchy tracks.
'Chuck' contains 15 songs which include 2 bonus tracks. The songs are better than you expect and the band have made an awesome album which I think is their best so far. The album is more heavier than their others and their songs are more serious which might reflect their lives in the rock band and their journey into stardom - as if they are looking back and expressing their journey in this new album.
One of their best tracks on 'Chuck' has to be 'We're all to blame' it has a great rocky rythem and is great at parties which gets the crowd rocking due to the electrifying beat of drums and the lead guitars. The lyrics are great and don't go through one ear and out the other they remain along with the tune in your head. The tune and lyrics go amazingly well with each. Another great track on this enthralling album is 'open your eyes' it has a great beat and gets your foot tapping on the floor. The drumming in this song is amazing and the lyrics get you singing along in no time. Believe me it got me pretending to play drums in little time at all! And finally another track i find interesting is 'Slipping Away' it isn't as rocky and loud as the others however the lyrics and the drumming keeps you listening and singing along too. this song could be seen as a sad song and i would agree it is sensitive and it makes you think and you can relate this song with things in your own life. A truly thought-provoking song.
The album contains many other great and catchy tracks however I have picked out 3 songs to comment on just to help you the reader to understand and take into thought.
'Chuck' is an all time favourite album of mine and always will be. The tracks are truly remarkable and this album would interest anyone who is interested in new rock music. Thanks for reading ste

welcome to ciao - good review - it's nice to read one that contains more than the obligatory 120 words - quite liked some of this band's earlier stuff so might have to try to listen to this one. If you need any advice on the site then send me a message, Belinda
