Advantages: fun, up tempo, amazing covers. Disadvantages: only 2 new songs
...I am a huge fan of spunge, they are the only British ska punk band worth listening to. They are also a cut above most bands from the states. This album is full of spunginess, every song gets you jumping. The album consists of 6 amazing covers (centrefold, circle in the sand, Oliver's army, land down under, im gunna be, happy hour) in fact, in my eyes, these covers are better than the originals.
There are 3 live perfomences of some of spunges classics and two new tracks that have never been released. If you like bands like real big fish, mad caddies etc. you will love spunge, the excitement and urgency of every song is brilliant and you will not be able to get these songs out of your head. If you have never heard spunge or if you love them, this album is for you.
You can't not like spunge....

...Introduction:
I am always on the hunt for bargains and one of my favourite lurking places is the big HMV store in Oxford Street, London. There must be some kind of unknown terrestrial magnetic force underneath the shop which irresistibly drags me from the congested street: Mowing down the tourists blocking the pavement while they debate which direction leads to Buckingham Palace, I head through the security gates of debit card Hell, down the escalator, deep into the bowels of the earth also known as the classical department...
Last time I was at HMV, it was raining outside so I had plenty of excuse to spend a couple of hours browsing through the stack 'em up and sell 'em cheap piles of CDs. It is rare that I leave this Temple of Temptation not clutching a bag of goodies and this visit found me picking up this double CD...
