Starring Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage in a romantic movie. Cage plays Seth an angel who takes people to heaven when there time is up. Seth meets Maggie and they fall in love, however, things are not that simple…..are they ever.
It’s a good film, and soppy in parts. The story is quite good and the acting from the two characters is excellent. You don’t have to believe in Angels to like this film, its just so natural and serene the atmosphere the two create. The ending is quite sad and will bring a tear to your eyes.
However, the soundtrack is excellent, its got some excellent songs: 1. U2 god will send his angels 2. Alanis Morissette Uninvited 3. Jim Hendrix Red House 4. Paula Cole Feelin’ Love 5. John Lee Hooker Mama. You got a daughter 6. Sarah McLachlan Angel 7. Goo Goo Dolls Iris 8. Peter Gabriel I grieve 9. Jude I know 10. Eric Clapton Further on up the road Gabriel Yared- An Angel Falls, The Unfeeling kiss, Spreading wings, City of Angels.
The album is excellent with some excellent tracks on it. Overall a good film with an excellent soundtrack album
