Advantages: Looks very Christmassy, Well Directed Disadvantages: The people look creepy
If you do not know the story of Charles Dickens' A ChristmasCarol there is probably something wrong with your think tank. It's possibly one of the most re-told stories of all time and probably has more film-isations than any other book, possibly even trumping the bible. This is Walt Disney's third re-telling alone for God?s sake.
Anyway for those who live in a hole or have dementia, A ChristmasCarol is the story of Ebonezer Scrooge (Jim Carey) and is passage by fire from twisted, grumpy, old miser who hates Christmas to the very opposite (except he stays old).
After the death of Scrooge's business partner, Scrooge has got even more miserable and spiteful than ever and everyone fears and avoids him. Even his sole employee, Bob Cratchet (Gary Oldman) lives in misery, not allowed to light a fire in the freezing office ...
Advantages: Wonderful English gothic architecture Disadvantages: Getting there
I was surprised to be writing the first review of King's College Chapel. I thought it was just me not getting out enough, but now it seems you lot haven't visited it either. Do go. Don't put it off or just look at the pictures. It really is a jewel of English gothic architecture.

Keeps them all on their toes and stops hours of nerves blotting the performance. Did you ...
Advantages: Good fun to watch, a unique twist on "A Christmas Carol" Disadvantages: None
Blackadder's ChristmasCarol is a one-off comedy special, a parody on Charles Dickens' "A ChristmasCarol". Timeline wise it's set between the third and the fourth series, and is narrated by Hugh Laurie.
Ebenezer Blackadder owns a shop in Victorian England. In a brilliant twist on Blackadder and on Scrooge, he is widely regarded as the nicest man in England. He will go out of his way for anyone and would give away his last penny if it made someone happy. As a result of this though, he is taken advantage of all time, as people know he never says no to anyone. One person who doesn't though is his assistant, Mr. Baldrick, who for once is actually content in his job. But Ebenezer is lonely and miserable, his shop never makes a profit because he gives it all away and he never keeps anything for himself. That all changes though one ...
