Review of Flick Of The Switch [Remastered] - AC/DC by Alan-RMFB

Advantages: Some good songs
Disadvantages: AC/DC at their poorest

...This isn't their best Album but it still has some good songs on it. This was recorded in 1983 and is the third album featuring Brian Johnson as lead singer. The album includes some great songs like "01. Risings Power" "03. Flick of the Switch" "06.Guns for Hire" and "08. Bedlam in Belgium". No rock classics here but its still a good rock album from AC/DC. Although its not my favourite AC/DC albums by far but it has good songs on it as menitioned before. This album is good for any AC/DC fan although its not AC/DC at their best. It has a good inlay booklet with lots of information as always with the remastered CDs. Compared to other rock albums this is good album but compare it to other AC/DC albums its poor, but still worth the money.... Read review

Two good singles, an appalling album.
Review of Sixpence None The Richer - Sixpence None The Richer by mikegray

Advantages: Two good singles.
Disadvantages: Tedious and unenjoyable. Give it a miss.

...Sixpence None The Richer shot to fame on the back of "Kiss Me" appearing in the teen flick "She's All That". They then followed it up with a cover version of a classic song, "There She Goes Again", and then promptly vanished into oblivion. This is, however, the way that it should have been. Because for every "Kiss Me", there's three "The Lines Of My Earth" - basically, two good singles and an album which is a waste of time. So really, 6pence's descent was justified. The material just isn't there to back up the promise of Kiss Me. One to avoid.... Read review

Fly on the Wall
Review of Fly On The Wall [Remastered] - AC/DC by Alan-RMFB

Advantages: Contains the classics Fly on the wall, sink the pink
Disadvantages: Its their worst album, but its still good!

...I believe this to be AC/DCs first and last worst album but its still a good album! This was recorded in 1985 and came after Flick of the Switch but before Who Made Who Album. This album is like the Flick of the Switch Album - its not amazing but its still quite good. Highlights of this album include, Fly on the Wall, Shake Your Foundations, Sink the Pink, Back in Business. There are no classics here but its still worth it, especially if you're an AC/DC fan. Like the other Remastered Editions of AC/DCs albums the inlay booklet is packed full of pictures of AC/DC in concert and posters and old tickets, small reviews from that time and liner notes written by Brian Ives. This isn't AC/DCs best work but true AC/DC fans will still love and enjoy this album... Read review
