Advantages: Large variety of music
Disadvantages: none

...I bought this bos set of 5 CDs from Asda for £5, what a bargain. I'm not usually a classical music fan, but it is great as backbround music for the class of children I teach, plus provides lots of inspiration for Art and Drama. The set contains 5 CDs. The first is classical favourites, most people will know a few from this disk which has 16 tracks. The 2nd disk is Classical Chillout and is all music that is fairly slow, soft and relaxing. This also has 16 tracks. The 3rd disk is Opera favourites, 16 of them. The 4th has only 11 tracks of Romantic classics, and the 5th has 16 tracks again titled tracks from the movies. I was very surprised to see music such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings on this album! So there are a total of 75 tracks to listen to, which I have done all in a row so I cant say what the total... Read review

Highly recommended chillout album
Review of Ministry Of Sound Chilled 1991-2008 - Various Artists by MinxyMoos

Advantages: Excellent downtempo remixes of some of clublands biggest dance tracks
Disadvantages: Some rather wishy washy tracks

...At first, I was a little bit wary of purchasing this album as I am not normally a fan of 'commercial' dance music as I can sometimes find it rather cheesy and become easily bored. I decided to take a chance on this after hearing it advertised on the radio and I am glad that I did. This album is a breathtaking compilation of tracks and remixes of downtempo, house and trance favourites from 1991 to 2008. All three discs are an outstanding example of the dance music scene's ability to inspire and uplift with some truly fresh chillout remixes of classic laidback favourites. Other classic tracks include Chicane's 1996 chart topper 'Offshore' and an amazing acoustic remix of Basement Jaxx' 2001 hit; 'Romeo'. Some of the tracks towards the middle of disc three are a bit stale but this does not ruin the album at all. This album is definately one... Read review
