Advantages: Easy navigation, clear large screen, huge capacity, great looking, excellent value for money Disadvantages: iTunes a little annoying, dodgy earphones
...**UPDATE** After having this iPod for 18 months now, I thought I'd update my review as parts of it are no longer true. This review was updated 22.07.09 :-)
** UPDATE** I'll have owned my iPod Classic for two years when December comes, so at the end of this review I'll give you an update on how it's running almost 24 months after it was first purchased.
I was hesitant about buying an iPod as my first, an iPod mini a few years ago, broke and never mended itself as
soon as I bought it. It was sent back and I've been using other (decent) players since. But iPods are so popular
I decided to give them another shot and, truthfully, am very pleased that I did.
After using a perfectly good Samsung YP-Z5A 4GB Mp3 player, I was bought the iPod Classic 80GB (in black) for

Advantages: YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIES AND COMPLETE ALBUM COLLECTION IN YOUR POCKET Disadvantages: SOUND LEVEL ON MOVIES NOT GREAT
...I bought my Ipod Classic around a month ago to basically be able to carry all my albums round with me at all times and have a couple of my favourite movies to hand if I am ever bored.
I used to have an Ipod Nano and thought that 2 GB of memory would be plenty for what I needed but soon found that I couldn't fit no way near half of my albums on there and had to cherry pick my favourite songs due to there being not enough space available.
Now having 80GB it's surprising how much you can actually fit on it. I currently have around 15 movies, a season of lost and over a 100 albums and am still well under 30GB. It's unbelievable.
Unless you would like to put all your movie collection on to your Ipod then I can definitely assure you that an 80GB capacity would more than cover your requirements.
The Ipod has a great new feature...

Advantages: THAT signature sound, amazing looks, solid build Disadvantages: finish has imperfections, NOT FOR SHREDDERS, high end sounds tight
...When Gibson and Epihphone got together to do a dual-launch of Slash Signature Guitars I was dubious at first. Would epiphone be able to capture a sound that comes from a over1100 pound guitar in a sub 500pound package? The answer is an astounding YES!
BUILD/LOOKS
the first thing I noticed when I picked up this guitar was how reasuringly solid it felt. You get the feeling that if you threw this guitar off of a cliff it would still be playable afterwards! the dimensions of the guitar are well thought-out and it sits evenly on the lap.
the shape of the body and the density of the wood also give it an amazing sound (which I will address later). The high frets are not particulary easy to access though, due to the shape of the body.
the glued-in neck gives the guitar an incredible sustain and contributes to the solid feel...
