...When i first heard this album i was blown away and i've been listening to it ever since. "Get Lifted" John Legend's debut album is an imaginative and outstanding fusion of funky hip-hop beats and old-school gospel with catchy little tunes which you'll be singing or humming everywhere you go. This quite well experienced soul singer has appeared on Kayne West's album "College Dropout" in a few of the best tracks on that album. Kayne can spot raw talent and he's done a good job singing Legend on as he has definetely got a future going for him if he continues to produce refreshing and funky tunes that he has on "Get Lifted". This multi talented singer/song writer has not gone unnoticed as major artists like Snoop Dogg feature on the album along with kayne his executive producer. John Legend - Once Again - A masterclass in music

Advantages: A great easy-listening album where every song sounds a classic
Disadvantages: Could this follow on from the success of the first album?

...This is the follow up to the extremely successful album 'Get Lifted', and many people were wondering if John Legend could produce something even nearly as good as his first album. Well he's done even better. The album is full of retro music with a fresh modern beat, all embelished by his amazing vocal abililty and song-writing capabilities. The album begins with 'Save Room', the first single and it sets you up for a great album. It has a classic feel with an RnB twist, which has worked for him in the past with songs like 'Number 1' and 'I Used To Love You'. His vocal range is really outstanding in this song and the lyrics really paint a picture. Other stand-out tracks are 'Heaven', 'Again' and 'Where Did My Baby Go?'. The Legend Lives On
Review of Legend [Remastered] - Bob Marley by  Sticky_fingaz

Advantages: Classic, easy listening
Disadvantages: Not much really!

...Having always listened to and enjoyed Bob Marley, in the snatches of his songs I have heard, I felt compelled to buy this album as it was clearly a very good collection of classic reggae. Marley defined reggae and if it was not for him, the reggae genre (and the ska movement derived from reggae) would still be a mere local Carribbean tradition, not a worldwide phenomenom. And so to the album. Released in 2000 after Marley's death in 1984, Legend comprises a collection of Bob's greatest and most celebrated hits. It is in this album, that he demonstrates his strong Rastafarian faith and love of the music. HIs most famous hits like 'Jammin', 'One Love' and 'Buffalo Soldier' to name a few are coupled with the powerful classics 'Redemption song' and 'Exodus'.
