Album Reviews: Entertainment Weekly (11/08/96, p.69) - "Seekers of esoteric musical thrills might do well to investigate these reissues of this all but forgotten West Coast band's late '60s/early '70s albums....unlike many latter-day chops flaunters, these guys mostly kept to the four-minute mark, so that even the unsuccessful experiments are mercifully brief." - Rating: B+
...life that remained within him was the echo of his rich voice,
But he turned back to the shinning moonlight,
And realized that he was a free spirit if only in mind and not in sight.
In the frozen cold maybe he saw Mandela's rainbow nation,
That would occur many years later,
Just maybe in the empty sky of his eyes it was all clear,
That one day there would be no war or hatred,
Where the African race would no longer had to wait,
For their rights that should never have been denied,
Coming way to late after centuries of rain.
Bob Marley is a legend who will never fade, his bright light shines as boldly as ever before, as a new generation take up his music, just like every other will after this.
He is an inspiration to musicians and ordinary people alike, regardless of who ever they are. In my view simply the best, a gifted man who...

...These are the remasters of from the tapes recorded so many years ago produced by Jimmy Page. Now, he has awoken the the spirit and pure energy of the band Led Zeppelin and they are back with avengence with this wonderful compilation through the first and second half of their truly stunning career. From the amazingly powerful blues-rock of their first album to the beautiful and imaginative folk echoing through albums 3 and 4 and the epic scale of Kashmir and the Epic Achilles last stand that triggers their ending years as a band. From John Bonham's drumming to rock the very gates of Hell, followed closely by John Paul Jones' oh so funky and rocking basslines, to Jimmy Page's unnaturally superhuman guitar riffs and solos that lifts him to the status of godly, and Robert Plant's Banshee voice that sounds so wickedly brilliant. This has...

...This album is Rush's second best ablum, following their HUGE album 2112. The main song on this album is "Spirit of Radio". There is a reason for this, it has the best riff i have ever heard, and the lyrics have the effect on you that make you have goosebumbs! with a superbly fitting solo. Other tracks that gets people attention is Jacob's Ladder and Natural Science, both great examples of prog rock, with slow, soft music, building to explosion of synths and guitar with the right effects at the right time. And their most well know song, and one played at every live gig they do is "Freewill", this song is simple amazing, only their 2112 beats it. This song is touching in many ways with the lyrics tells how people are feeling and how they should lead lifes, so listen to them....
