Advantages: It's different to most music! Disadvantages: Not everyones cup of tea.
...has the blues, a mix that apparently doesn't go together as in this track.
~~Midnight In Montgomery~~
This song is like where were you when the world stopped turning. It's slow and gentle and easy-listening. This is about one of Alans friends who lived in Montgomery ''Midnight in montgomery, hes always singing there''
~~Little Man~~
This is about a little man who started a trade industry in a town and big industrys came along and put him out of business and Alan explains how the industrys don't realise what they have done to him.
~~Pop A Top~~
This is a reasonably lively song, it's about drinking. I don't really like this song because the lines and tune are a teensy bit too cheesy. It also has rather annoying noises of a beer bottle opening. Frankly an awful song, end of.
~~Don't Rock The Jukebox~~

Advantages: nothing special (the song) Disadvantages: couple of patchy songs
...Alan McGee and a number of people in France, America and The Music Business have called this one a "classic album". I would disagree, i find it patchy but when its good its good. For those not in the know, the jazz butcher, pat fish & max eider, have been churning out records for 23 years now starting with the jumbled but amusing mess of bath in bacon & now have 4 or 5 compilatin albums out.The early records are very hard to find, especially on glass.Alan mcgee was a fan , he signed them, they dont make enough money, he loses them.
the musical style is difficult to define, theyre a bit of everything really. If you have broad musical taste & are open minded there will be a song for you somewhere on his albums.
I found Distressed gentlefolk in 1989 the day after seeing him perform for the first time, luckily on glass label, but when i...

The Project was a joint operation between acclaimed music producer Alan Parsons (responsible in no small part for the success of Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon,' one of the greatest albums ever recorded) and musician Eric Woolfson, drafting in a variety of singers and musicians to produce...
