...Background: I had heard of Peter Robinson before, I just had never thought of reading one of his books. However, at our book club at work this month there was a special offer of four of his books for £10.00. At that price I thought I can't really go wrong. So here is my first review from this author. About this author: This time I hope I have the right man!! (See previous review). Not the leader of the Democratic Unionist Party but an accomplished international best selling crime author. Born and brought up in Yorkshire, he has lived for the past 25 years in North America. He is likened in writing style to Ian Rankin and he has written in total 18 novels of which 16 have been set around Chief Inspector Banks. ...A haircut is a haircut, no? Well, no, actually ? caught you out there, didn?t I, huh? Last year, during troubled times was the first time I treated myself to going into Toni and Guy?s in the town centre of Hastings. I made an appointment and off I went. The reason I went there was because I was unloved. Ahhh. Nobody wanted to make me feel good about myself, so I was going to have to enhance my appearance so that I?d feel good about myself. As I walked in I was greeted by a funky lady behind the counter, which itself was rather funky. Wouldn?t mind a shorter version as a coffee table, you know the sort.
