Cadburys Crème Egg, how do you eat yours? Normally I eat mine in egg form but recently I?ve twisted things up and tried the Cadburys crème egg bar Twisted. Cadbury has been making chocolate since 1824, when John Cadbury opened his first shop which has now grown to be one of the biggest sellers of chocolate in the world. According to their website, Cadbury's first introduced a crème-filled egg in 1923 but it wasn't until 1971 that the Cadbury Crème Egg hit the shelves in the form that we know it today. The best part of a crème egg for me is the inside bit, ?the egg,? the ooey, gooey, sticky fondant in the middle. It is made to resemble the inside of an egg as it is both yellow and white. A Twist In The Tale

Advantages: Short stories you can read in one go
Disadvantages: Poor quality and depth in the writing with obvious twists

or two towards the end of the story. • The Perfect Murder. Good story, with interesting characters. Well written and a wonderful twist at the end of the story. 8/10 • Clean Sweep Ignatius. Dull story about a Minister of Finance dealing with internal corruption in his country. The twist was so obvious, I was glad it was only 12 pages long. 2/10 • A La Carte. Interesting story. That developed well with good characters and a believable plus very understandable conclusion. 7/10. • Not the Real Thing. About a business man who receives a gift for services to a countries development. It is a predictable but amusing story. Too short to make it fascinating as you can't get into the characters in 20 pages. 4/10 • Just Good Friends Story about a man and his friend. This is a story a child could have written better ...

A Twisted attempt at a Creme Egg

Advantages: Sweet, readily available at the moment, chocolate is nice
Disadvantages: Sickly, fondant is quite tasteless, expensive

I'm not new to these. I discovered them back in 2008 when they were launched. They were introduced as the evil, 'twisted' cousin of the ordinary Cadbury's Crème Egg back in 2008. Where to buy I bought my most recent Twisted from Spar. It cost 59p which is quite a dramatic increase in price to the original introductory cost of 45p last year. They are available in most shops, and can usually be found much cheaper than 59p. I got three for £1 last week in Home Bargains. They tend to be most expensive in garages. Packaging The wrapper is a metallic foil and is an array of purple and red swirls, with the name 'Twisted' emblazoned across the front in a yellow bubble text.
