Just going through more of my crap CD's that I dont listen to anymore - infact I bearly listened to them at all. You see these adverts on TV showing you this 'FAB' album and you're like - yeah I want that........then you get the bloody thing and what crap they have on it?!?! Tricking in advertising that is - show you the five best songs on the album and as for the rest of the Trash - they know its no worth it so dont bother!
Anyway before yet another of my CD's go to Ebay for some buck eejit to buy I'll give you a run down it.
Dont be getting too excited now, as this is one I will definitely not be recommending!
This CD (double) cost me £16.99 - Well coming to think about it, I didnt buy it, my boyf did, so really it cost him that, eh? LOLOL I am sure that if you went to buy it now though, top price you would pay for it anyway would be £10 and that would be fairly ripping you off. Would say you'd get in it HMV or Virgin with their sales they have for about £6.99. I still dont think it is worth that though.....

Now all of the above are supposed to be HUGE clubbing tracks from around that time?!?! Not a chance of it - I could maybe pick 3 or so which were excellent tunes - Skydive, Saltwater and ok then, maybe not, only 2!

Well it is Orange and Yellow on the cover. Mostly orange though. Has the writing - Club Mix Ibiza 2000 - 40 of the biggest Ibiza Club tracks (SUCH RUBBISH) in white writing along the front. There is a picture of a palm tree beside a beach with a set of decks. Think the cover suits the album though.
Mixing on this album is ok - nothing to jump up and shout about.
Back to the recommendation - nah still wouldnt recommend it. Not for the fact it is way out of date now anyway, just for the fact it is RUBBISH!!!

I received this compilation CD as a birthday present, and after initial hesitations I listened to it and found this compilation to be a lot better than others I've heard!! The tracks are ones which you HAVE actually heard of, ie many are or have been in the charts, and the mixing is top notch as well!! The only thing bad about it is that its yet another Ibiza compilation album!!! Recommended for most, especially for 'clubbers'. This is an ideal compilation ...

Advantages: Good value, many songs, overlapping Disadvantages: slightly out of date
I found this compilation in my local record store for just £15.99, not bad in comparison to many other compilation disks eg. the euphoria series.
NOt only did I good value but both the 1st and second disks are literally paacked full of the latest commercial dance/trance hits along with many of the unreleased Ibiza anthems (unfortunately it did not include "maniac 2000", my favourtie song at the moment).

I bought this album as a reminder of the holiday that I've just been on as it features all the songs that you heard in every club. It features a load of my favourites with new mixes like Madison avenue and Sonique and original mixes of Basement Jaxx and Shaft.
