Before Keanu Reeves set the trend for dodging bullets in slow motion, Sly Stallone was chiselling his iron jaw, rather than putting his mind to a script in 1986's Cobra. Crime was a disease; he was the cure. It was that simple. An army of axe wielding serial killers led by the "Nightslasher" are terrorizing L.A. with absolutely no motive. But spare the psychological babble for the films that don't make it seem so cool to wear a trench coat, a pair of aviators, and chew on a match stick in the presence of danger. Stallone's only job as "The Cobra" was to protect a fashion model- who witnessed some of the unmotivated murders- and max out as many psychopaths as possible. It was a great life being an action star. Whether Stallone meant it or not, Cobra is full of hilarity. Though, surely he must have seen the funny side to a bad guy ...

Donta go a pasta Verde's !!

Advantages: Fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff
Disadvantages: You want to go back - again and again and again......

Verdes Ristorante and Pizzeria LANCASTER Writing a restaurant review is very difficult. Different people look for different things in a restaurant. As far as I am concerned what I look for is a good atmosphere, a good menu selection, good value for money, friendly and helpful staff, but mainly it needs to be a restaurant that I want to visit again, and again. This is certainly the case with Verdes Ristorante and Pizzeria which has been a popular family run restaurant in Lancaster for many years. The restaurant is situated in the centre of town in Church Street, it's open seven days a week from 11.30am to 10.30pm for meals or just a tea or coffee. Hotel Monte Verde

Advantages: Very Clean
Disadvantages: Awful Food, Noisy, Far way from Palma Airport

In October 2006 I went on an all-inclusive holiday for one week to Porto Cristo on the east coast of Majorca (Mallorca). I stayed in a hotel called the Monte Verde. It cost me £169 and I will now share my experiences of this hotel with you. The Monte Verde Hotel was built in 1969 and was fully refurbished during the winter of 2000. The Monte Verde has a total of 140 rooms that are built over 7 floors. When I pulled up to The Monte Verde I was not very impressed with the look of the hotel, it looked like a block of flats and was similar to some of the housing around Porto Cristo, which looked a bit basic and old fashioned. However The Monte Verde is only a 2 star hotel so I was not expecting too much. Upon arriving inside at around midnight Majorcan time (+1 hour GMT), I was surprised to find nobody at the 24-hour front desk. I ...
