I had read about Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream many times in girls mags. It has always been hailed as a wonder product so I was curious to find out why. Now, I couldn't live with out it - I use it for everything. So what's it like? It comes in a white tube, the basic simplistic Elizabeth Arden packaging. It comes in a 75ml tube which costs about £15 depending where you buy it from. This tube lasts forever. Well, I've had mine since Christmas and there is still loads left. When you squeeze some out you'll notice that its not really a cream, it has more of an oily texture, is a brown colour & has a medical smell. The smell is the most off putting thing about it, but if you can get past this you will be glad of the benefits. So what are the many uses of Eight Hour Cream? Let me tell you... Eight Hour Miracle Cream!

Advantages: Heals and Soothes skin.
Disadvantages: Price, can take a while to absorb.

Arden. It exfoliates gently to encourage smooth skin and provide anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial benefits. Eight Hour Cream is also available in a stick for lips. It contains sunscreen and vitamin E and comes in four different colours: Honey Blush Chestnut Plum. I would definitely recommend Eight Hour Cream to anyone looking to buy. When I first purchased I felt the product was overpriced, my opinion has since changed after finding 101 uses for it! As long as it is used sparingly then it does not feel to heavy on the skin. My only disadvantage of this product is the amount of time it takes to absorb. I sometimes find myself rubbing the cream constantly in the hope it will absorb faster! A String of Pseudo Pearls

Advantages: Excellent backing tracks, competent vocals, a couple of strong pop hits
Disadvantages: Not much in the way of soul, some dull tracks, all rather dated now

wiped, as so many ?Top of the Pops? episodes were prior to 1976. The song slipped from consciousness over time however and it wasn?t until I received the first ?Jackie? compilation album a couple of years ago as a gift that I heard it again and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it ? despite the passing of well over 30 years. Ever the curious sort, I sought out more of the Pearls? work and as an aficionado of the northern soul sound decided that their compilation CD ?A String of Pearls? had to be worth a punt if only to reminisce about my childhood. The album has 24 tracks, including all singles and B-sides the girls recorded. To the best of my knowledge the Pearls never released an album in the seventies so there are no obvious ?album tracks? but there are several curiosities if you are familiar with music from the early 1970 ...
