Her first hit single, "Foolish" samples the late Notorious B.I.G.'s hit "One More Chance (Remix)", which sampled some track by Debarge. Great track, but not as good as B.I.G.'s original.

The second single, and in my opinion, the best track of the album. An original and upbeat track - one of the few on the album. Ja Rule gives names her "the princess of Hip-Hop + RnB" at the beginning of this track - whether she deserves the title is questionable.

For a track named "Always on Time Part II", you'd expect it to live up to the original, but this track lacks energy, and falls ...
Advantages: Great quality music Disadvantages: May not be up tempo enough for some
This is the best album I have ever bought! Back in 2002 when Murder INC were prominent on the music scene.
The album boasts great productions and the lyrics in the songs actually mean something. Nowadays, RnB tracks rely on good beats, with a random singer, droning monotonously in the background. This album is refreshing in that respect.
Some standout tracks are:
Track 2: Foolish; which samples Notorious B.I.G, 'One More Chance'
Track 4: Leaving (Always on Time, pt 2) In my opinion the best song on the album! If you liked 'Always on Time' by Ja Rule ft Ashanti, then you would definately like this one, as the beat is similar but speaks about when you want to leave a relationship.
Track 6: Call; This track has a good beat and fantastic lyrics
Track 8: Rescue; Once again excellent production and the lyrics are deep

to those who aren't too keen on the heavy R&B beat and rapping. Her voice matches perfectly with her cute persona and is sweet, gentle and girly and she has a very soft and melodic voice. Every song on the album, even if they did not come out as a separate single, are all very catchy tunes and all are thoroughly enjoyable to listen to. There is a mixture of slow beats and faster beats on here and a few of the songs include easy rapping lyrics from the likes of Ja Rule.

Personnel: Ashanti (vocals); Free, Hussein Fatal, Ja Rule, Method Man, Paul Wall , Black Child, Caddillac Tah, Charli Baltimore, Merce (rap vocals). Given Ashanti's tenure for Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. label, the R&B star's strong ties to hip-hop are not surprising. Even though Gotti's company softened its image a bit by changing its name to The Inc. Records, Ashanti stayed true to her rap-friendly background, releasing the rhyme-laden COLLECTABLES BY ASHANTI in 2005. Consisting primarily of remixes and previously unreleased tracks, this compilation boasts a legion of gruff-voiced MCs, including Ja Rule, Method Man, Caddillac Tah, and Black Child. As always, however, the expressive singer shines the brightest when carrying her own tunes, as on the gentle, chiming "I Love You" and the beat-laden "I Found It in You."
