...On October 30th, 1938, Orson Welles directed a radio play about an invasion from mars, the play was an adaptation of the sci-fi novel by HG Wells “The War of the Worlds”.
Orson Welles decided to direct the play as if it were a live news broadcast and despite telling the listener before the play began, and again at various times throughout the play that it was not a real news broadcast but a radio play, thousands of Americans packed the roads, or hid in their cellars convinced that aliens were invading from Mars.
Forty years later a new adaptation of the book came out, this time a musical album conceived and written by Jeff Wayne.

Advantages: The best of metal, great vocals and riffs Disadvantages: Lyrics might not appeal to those who think that lyrics make a song
...this track with his great vocals. He goes from the fast paced “rap” to the sick screaming in the chorus, which just hooked me. He is their growling Bled for days there into the background. The instrumentals are pounding in the background giving this song that metal edge. Score: 5
Track 4: Love dump
This song is somewhat a slow song on account that he is singing about that chick that he gave all he can for. As the compliments Wayne says in the first verse. Then changing the it around and saying how much he doesn’t love this person anymore. He is wondering what to say which is repeated with the phrase “hand me a line, really hand me a line”. Once again the riffs and the drums just pound with the vocals. It’s a good overall song but once again doesn’t pack any complicated lyrics. Score: 4

...Revenge is the very first Eurythmics album which I bought, way back in the mid eighties, it has survived the decades and still continues to sound fresh and new as when it was first produced. Among the songs in this album are Missionary Man, Thorn in my Side, When tomorrow comes and A little of you. Although not the best of the best, Revenge has something for every Eurythmics fan, a ballad type number, rock and pop. Since that album I have been a collector of all their other wonderful stuff and am still a fan till this day....
