I don't know about you but I get bored very easily when it comes to listening to CD albulms. All the ones I have now jump on certain tracks because I always listen to the same songs mainly because of advertising and them being released as singles, I never give the rest of the albulm a chance unless it is on as background music.
This CD was different though, for a few reasons. I first heard Kanye West when I was in Florida in May this year, I was immediately taken aback by his talent and the catchiness he had to both his songs released at that time, 'Through the wire' and 'All falls down'. I remember thinking everytime I heard him on the radio that I couldn't wait to tell everyone back home about him, and I found myself humming his tunes when he wasn't even playing!
I hadn't been home long when I saw an advert for his albulm 'The College Dropout' on the television and from that day on I have not stopped listening to him, from the beginning to the end as well! There is a first time for everything and I should be thankful that the time I chose to sit down and pay attention to a CD it has a variety of equally amazing tracks, all different and all brilliant in their own way!!
Sadly I have now lost the albulm to my boyfriend, who in the beginning didn't like it and wasn't interested, but suddenly kidnapped it to his car where it has failed to return from!!
It really is a truly great CD and I would recommend it to anyone, if you like the song 'All falls down' released at the moment, then do not hesitate to buy 'The College Dropout' you won't be disappointed and if anyone wants to buy me one while they are at it to replace mine that has been lost forever, all donations will be greatly appreciated!!!
